These wild bird food options are really great.  They seem to be more expensive, but you are actually buying more product for your money.  Since the shells are already removed, we’re not paying for unwanted shells that are just wasted, as the birds only eat the seed inside anyway.  The shells add extra weight to the bag, and most bags of food are sold but the weight.  So why pay for what we won’t use.  

     These products also cause less mess on the ground, deck or patio where your feeders may sit.  Every bit of the food is consumed.  NO MESS!  No Shells, No unwanted sprouts growing under your feeders.  This is also great for the birds in winter as well, when energy consumption and usage is very important to their survival.  No wasted energy goes into shelling the seeds, they can just eat and enjoy it!
