Fountains and Formal Pond Designs

     This was a project on a very old pond that originally was constructed with bricks and concrete.  The pond had no filter system, and was leaking thru cracks in the walls.  The first picture is of the original pond.  We totally destroyed and removed it, and rebuilt it exactly the same way that it originally was.  Only now its deeper, and has a large filtration system with two bottom drains and two UV Sterilizers.  We did a stone wall under the coping on both the interior and exterior of the pond.  The new coping was all made with forms, and the white cement was dyed with a tan color.  On each corner of the pond, we set in the cement an original cement fish that was salvaged from the bottom of the original pond.  a new pedestal was constructed for the old statue, and three fountain jets were placed around the statue to return the water from the filters back to the pond and add aeration.  Today, this pond is clear and really beautifull.  It’s home to about 100 koi of all sizes
