A pondless waterfall! This waterfall has ashallow pond that is only about 6 inches deep. Instead of having the water spill directly into gravel, the shallow water helps to enhance and increases the sound generated from the waterfall. A 1/2 hp, 7,500 gph pump pushes the water over the rocks through five different returns.

A Beautiful Backyard Attraction!

This pond is something special as you can see from the pictures above and the videos below. The pond is about 30 feet long, and 15 feet wide and holds about 7,000 gallons of water. It has three 4" bottom drains and a skimmer that has a 4" PVC pipes that along with the three drains all feed into a gravity fed filter behind the shed. There is a 7,500 gph pump that pulls the water out of the filter tank, and then into a large bead filter and then a 150 watt high output UV light. The highlights of the pond include the long deck on the back side, and the two waterfalls . The waterfalls were designed to be subtle and yet focal points. The waterflow is gentle and flowing rather than aggressive and loud. A wide range of water plants were added, both hardy and tropicals. The pictures above show progress from start to finish.
