This is a natural algicide that actually works, and it works really well.  Many of my clients use this and love it.  Many other algicides are chemicals that are actually dangerous to your pond and fish if overdosed, or if there is not a good oxygen supply in the pond.  This product is safe!

     Barley straw is sold in three different forms, including a small bale of straw, pellets and this liquid.  As the straw bale and pellets rot, they give off a toxin tha kills algae.  The problem with this is that it creates as mess in the pond as the straw or pellets rot and start to fall apart.  This product is the liquid extract, and there is no rotting mess.  Simply pour it in and it’s done.  And it works fast! 

     It is available in several different sizes.  A small 16-ounce bottle can treat 8,000 gallons, or 1,000 gallons for 4 months.
